2 Day Husky Getaway

This 2-day all inclusive program is designed to introduce you to the world of dog sledding and the north western Ontario environment and culture.  This program is perfect for Thunder Bay residents who would like a country escape for a couple of days having a new and rewarding experience. 

Day 1

On the first day, you will arrive at our country home just outside of Thunder Bay where you will be introduced to your team of dogs. You will be given plenty of instruction on everything you need to know in order to handle and care for your dogs and operate the sled. Then we'll head off for your first time on the dog sled.

Day 2

On day 2, we'll go off on a full day trip and explore the region's deep cultural and natural history while continuing to build relationships with the dogs.

This 2 day program includes accommodations at our B&B style lodging and all meals from a menu that features locally produced foods. See our accommodations page.
